Adventure Sports Moving Shop

Adventure Sports are on the Move!

After more than 15 years in the little blue shop on Gympie Tce, Adventure Sports Kitesurf Australia are relocating to larger, more accessible premises at 136 Eumundi Rd Noosaville. The locals have been checking out the renovations as the old brown warehouse has taken on a new bright blue look.

History
Many may not know that the Noosa kiteshop opened its doors in 2001, after starting out in 1999 as one of Australia’s first kiteschools. The school & kiteshop was the brainchild of one of Noosa’s renowned locals, Chris De Aboitiz, whose son Keahi has gone on to become two (2) times World Wave Kitesurfing Champion. When the Tarr family purchased the business in 2007, it had already changed names to Adventure Sports, but with a love of kitesurfing deeply ingrained in the family, the name was expanded to Adventure Sports Kitesurf Australia.

Over the past 8 years the Tarr family and staff have continued to share their passion for kitesurfing across the coast, but have also embraced kayaking, SUP and skating with all the necessary accessories required to make the most of these sports. It has been a great time of slowly expanding from 120sqm floor area to nearly 250sqm, but still, we need more space.

The Future
The new premises at 136 Eumundi Rd Noosaville will provide taller ceilings, more floor area, main road frontage, easy access and plenty of parking, all very necessary for the continued support of both the local community and our interstate/international visitors.
