A feature length movie 'The Search for Freedom' has just been released online, after much anticipation from the action sports community worldwide. Starring the likes of Kai Lenny and Robby Naish, amongst many others you'll most certainly have heard referred to as 'waterman', the film explores not just water based sports like stand up paddling, kiteboarding and windsurfing, but all the exciting land based sports in which our sport draws influence from. "The search for freedom is the story of a cultural revolution fueled by the human desire to live in the moment and do what makes you feel the most alive. We discover how an electrifying new world came about through pure energy and imagination and the infinite possibilities of self-expression available to anyone willing to drop in." In a short preview clip by the film-makers, Kai Lenny explains his part in the movie, and gives you a glimpse into what it took to film what might-just-be the most amazing big wave stand up paddling footage ever. He also tells about his ambitions as a kid, to become a multi talented watersports athlete, and how he worked to achieve those goals growing up in Hawaii.
