Candice Appleby leaves Bark, joins Infinity
The California based Surf company Infinity has announced that one of stand up paddlings fastest females has just left her major sponsor to join their 'Speed Freaks' team. Candice Appleby is a regular in the top three flat water results in stand up paddling. Key rival to Australia's Angie Jackson, Appleby has been part of the 'Bark' family since her stand up paddling career began, standing atop their boards for her 6 Battle of the Paddle wins, and numerous other international event podium finishes. She's had pro-model boards shaped and sold by Surftech too, but now she's adding her name to a growing list of professional paddlers getting on board with Infinity.
"Excited, honored, and humbled for this big change. So grateful for where I've been and the support that I have had, and so FREAKING excited about what is to come." Said Appleby on social media yesterday. Infinity have been pushing hard (considering they're a small shaping company on the West coast of the USA!) this year with some good videos and plenty of publicity online, check out their promo video to welcome Candice Appleby to their team.
