Huge Moroccan Right Handers on SUPS

"Somewhere in Morocco..." ~ Josh Riccio and his mates scope out the Kingdom of the West.
There's not a lot of action for goofy footers in Morocco, every break seems to be a right! Lucky these three paddlers are perfectly capable of smashing the lips of them anyway…

Morocco doesn't fit the bill for tropical surf getaways, but it makes up for it in culture and conditions. The murky point breaks regularly fire huge right handers off with textbook faces and the odd tricky barrel to tuck into, perfect for stand up paddle boards. The beachies, are about as good as beachies get!

Check out this great stand up paddle surfing clip from the Frenchmen Benoit Carpentier and Alex Kersaudy , with their mate from Hawaii Josh Riccio. These three travel to the most popular spots in the the country Safi, Imessouane, and Anchor Point over twelve days. During that time, they score some incredible waves, learn a little about pottery, and find themselves surfing in snuggies. Yes that's correct, snuggies.

Thankfully the surfing is far better than their wardrobe choices, and their tour guide is also hilarious. Check it out the highlights from 288 hours in Morocco below..
