Is there no bounds to the versatility of Inflatable SUPs?

They call it the 'Hammocraft', and it's made possible by two inflatable stand up paddleboards...
When the first inflatable SUP was released years ago, people laughed; they sniggered as these stubby nosed noodles went paddling around lakes and rivers. People cried 'I told you so' when the boards were surfed, because they were terrible, and we all knew that they would be.

Who's laughing now huh? Inflatables turned out to be the bow kite of stand up paddling, a revolutionary change that brought SUP to the masses. They're everywhere in the world, paddled by everyone from babies to grandmas, and used for so many applications, sometimes it's hard to believe.

So when this image popped up from Jackson, Wyoming, a ski town quite literally in the middle of the United States; where you would have never found a stand up paddleboard just 2 years ago, it was absolute confirmation that inflatable SUPs have no boundaries. They call it the 'Hammocraft', and it's two inflatable stand up paddle boards supporting a frame, which supports five hammocks.

Why? Because it's awesome! Of course you could mount this frame on anything that floats, but the flat deck and durability of inflatable SUP's is superior to kayaks or rafts. It also means you have two stand up paddle boards to disconnect from the contraption and go paddling on properly if you choose, or when everyone gets bored floating around drinking beer.

Extreme hammocking? This is about as close as you're going to get ( and yes, they have taken it down the rapids! ). Would you like to see one in Australia?
