While the rest of Australia froths over new product releases for 2016, Keahi De Aboitiz has already done some extensive testing of the new JP surfboards, and if this video is anything to go by - they surf alright.
Traveling south from his home town Noosa, he scored some incredible conditions for late winter. They're about at fun as a beachie can be, with both lefts and rights off either side of the sandbar, and the rights providing some very lengthy barrels. Combine the world-class conditions with Keahi's fluid and unique style of stand up paddle surfing, and 3 mins 37 seconds will fly by, leaving you wondering about the new JP stand up paddle boards...
Keeping their characteristic graphics for 2016, expect to see the JP line of stand up paddle boards looking much the same as they always have. Lots of grey, lots of fluro stripes, and distinctly pointed noses in all but the new 'Surf Slate'. The shapes are of course refined this year too, with many paddlers already leaving reviews right here in the forums about their experiences.
