What else could make a hole like that in a kids board?

That's Jed Gradisen; telling the guys from Stab about the incident just after it happened. You can see the nose shaped puncture in the picture above, and just by looking at it, you can see exactly what happened. It wasn't even his board, Jed borrowed it from a mate after breaking his own on a double up!
So was this a case of Snorki the killer dolphin, out to protect his local wave? Jed says it wasn't; "It was just an accident that the dolphin jumped on me, it was as amazed as I was!"
That's comforting to hear, so next time you're out in the lineup with Snorki and his mates, rest easy. They're just out for a surf too…
