Surfing for Millionaires, when there's no swell.

That's one way to go surfing...
What’s a millionaire to do when there’s no swell? Get the boat, hook up the jetski, launch the helicopter or invite the pretty ladies around? The choices are endless, or you could choose to do all of the above, which is exactly what this lot did.

Parks Bonifay, Danny Harf, Chad Sharpe, and Erik Ruck jump aboard “My Lizzy Too” for a little wake surfing. For the purists out there, yeah we know it’s not technically surfing, but this is close, and it’s mega cool. Throwing out a decent wake (assisted by some water-filled sacks to weigh the boat down), the bunch of famous wakeboarders had more than enough swell to work with on the little wakesurfing boards. As they say, when riding behind a boat you can ride the right, or cross over and ride the left, it’s perfect!

What’s not exactly perfect is the carbon footprint, especially when they employed the services of a helicopter to shoot the whole endeavor. We’re still appreciative of the gesture though, because we get to sit in awe as they go trundling down the bay.

If you’ve never heard of it before, wakesurfing is the sport of using a boats wake to surf on. Sticking close to the boat, you can actually surf pretty well on the wake it throws out, of course if the wake is big enough. Adding more weight to the boat of course helps throw out a bigger wake, and having a large boat also helps. To see what we mean, check out the video!
