Got a $155 parking fine in the mail for stopping in non stopping zone near my son's school...
I was aware of ppl getting fines and actually saw the bastard a couple of times hiding behind a tree with a camera in his hand...
So I was always very careful dropping off/picking up..
Anyway I rang the concil and ask for a photo as a proof, but the lady on the phone told me they aren't allowed to take the pictures because of the kids around..I asked politely to cancel this ticket then..and she said they don't do the fines review and my only chance is to apply for the review to the contractor who punish the law breakers on the concil behalf..
Turned out the contractor is a private bussines no farken different to the seven eleven and it's exploted employees called "tenixsolutions"..
I am going to a Court to see what the Judge has to say about this.
Rant over

Go and read the local parking by-laws on the council website or your road traffic regulations on your state government website. Stopping, standing and parking are three different things and are usually separate offences.

Next time you see the guy go take photos of him taking photos, dont sneak and hide just the opposite, stand in front of him, beside him, next to him, dont talk to him, after you park in a safe place

Even better, report him to the police for taking photos around schools

And you just admitted your guilt on social media - so I'd just shut up and pay the fine for stopping in a no stopping zone because people that park illegally in front of schools thinking they're OK to break the law **** me to tears

if I saw a photo I would pay no questions asked..
I didn't admit anything..the fine came in the mail, in case you didn't notice..
It was "Gold Hat" who said that I stopped in no stopping zone

That's a bit of a stretch and outside the intent of that guide. Speeding and parking fines are hardly artistic. If said parking enforcement dude was deliberately including the kids in his photos, burning copies for his personal collection and taking them home to view for his own pleasure then for sure he's committing offences. But if he's taking photos as a result of his employment and staying within what's reasonable he's not breaking any laws I know off. It's a public place and taking photos of public activity isn't illegal.

Fair call - it sounded like you were admitting doing it then complaining you got a fine

Enjoy the courts
