I'm almost 34 in a few weeks and I love cartoons.
In my younger years things like.
Lost city of gold
Inspector Gadget
Gummy bears
These days
Ben 10
Max steel
I struggle with the card style animations, to hard to learn the decks
Any other big kids out there? Maybe there is a few others I am missing out on. I find them a great escape from reality
and always a nice break from the usual Tv series. My wife hates them which makes me enjoy them more.
A light post to get away from all these shark threads.
One thing I used to love were the animated series of batman. Coupled with a good sounds system, they were awesome.
It felt like an animated movie, more than a cartoon.

I found this site for a good site of animations a few pop ups but easy once you use a few times to speed it up http://www.justanimedubbed.tv/
Keep them coming I'm sure seabreezers have many more I and many have forgot about. The best thing about old cartoons is they
bring back old memories of the younger years some good some bad but non the less very entertaining over late night tv brainwashing
sales.
I almost spill my weetbix just about every sat/sun morning when I hear my housemates get up, as I suddenly have to find the remote to get the tv on the news channel before they reach the lounge room.
It's like getting caught out watching porn.....
Thunderbirds........are go...So much has been copied into todays world, international space station for one
There's an animated star wars series floating around that's awesome. Don't know the name but it's about 5 years old & done with some of the original big names, George Lucas etc.

Clone wars.
Green lantern and Voltron (the new one) are my current favourites...
Seeing some of the cartoons above brings back memories, Lost city of gold was awesome.
Best animation EVER... Conan Future Boy.
- Dragon Ball, was good ~up until Son Goten grew up.
- Space Battleship Yamato.
- Transformers... I liked the off world one more.
I hate to admit this, but as a kid I used to watch Ninja Turtles, and X-men.
Metalopalypse as well..
Then there is the jap anime. Cromatarie high.. Darker than black.. Macross 00.
Agree totally, if it's a choice between senseless violence on the news, or senseless violence on cartoons, the choice is easy
the old tom and jerry
wyle e coyote
bugs bunny
did "Ken the survivor" ever make it to oz channels ?
Very violent but funny sh!t !!!
(same period as Dragon ball)
Two childhood memories in line with this thread are the short Roger Ramjet cartoons, hmm, not sure how the pill popping would go on ABC3 these days... And the second is the infuriating tune that went with Peter Russell Clark's cooking shows.
Now try and get those tunes out of your head
I'm almost 34 in a few weeks and I love cartoons.
So will you be 34 a few weeks after that or what?

"Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat"
"not again Bullwinkle!"
"Nothing up my sleeves".....................
Watch the clone Wars with my boys every now and again and still love a good episode of the Simpsons by chance. When I get home love listening to "Totally Drama Island" when in the kitchen or around the house - some funny one liners.
But my little cartoon indulgence is 'Archer'
