^^^ That is Blues like no other MB. So sad and melancholy.
Thanks for the Stray Cat Blues SandS.
My favourite from Van Morrisson is Gloria.

Are there shades of blue even? Isn't it binary, quantum..black and white?
Just to liven it up a bit. KB and Co live at the Williamstown RSL. His son Lucius is an amazing drummer. His is part of COG and if you look him up on the tube you will find some seemingly impossible drum solos from him.
As usual there is Harry "The Hand" Brus on bass.
ok not blues.
but I have just discovered at my ripe old age black sabbath....
It's card to correlate ozzy ozbourne's mumbling from the reality show to the singing in this song.
this has to be one of the best songs ever
also
Masters of reality!
^^^^^ Nothing like a good bit of pub rock. Thanks for that.
What's a Bondi Cigar ?
Good stuff SandS I was a big OMD fan.
How about a bit of Ry Cooder I used to get into some of his stuff back in the day too.
He sure knew his way around most string instruments.
As did Lowell George/Little Feat.
Back in my early 20's I played a bit of guitar and also I went through a stage of trying to learn to play blues harp (Harmonica), I listened to heaps of different harp players & I suppose Sonny Terry (Sonny Terry & Brownie Mc Ghee) was probably my main influence but then I stumbled across Junior Wells and although I found his style harder to replicate he was my favourite, such a cool cat.
I was going to post one of his videos but then I found this one that is packed with blues legends such as
Muddy Waters,
Buddy Guy,
Junior Wells,
Bill Wyman,
Pinetop Perkins,
Terry Taylor,
Dallas Taylor
Yep it's a long vid but if your a blues fan it is worth watching, the guy I am talking about features strongly, especially at around 4:40 with one of his classics Hoodoo Man Blues.
