One of my favourite comedies is Mon Oncle (1958) ("bloody architect").

What's yours?

I know you're interested in classic ones, but a recent brilliant one - "The things we do in the shadows". Mockumentary about vampires set in Wellington.

Watched it on a plane last week and couldn't stop laughing

bit obscure and pretentious hey bono? does it have the words fin at the end? any chance of naming a film in english that anyone else might have heard of? anything actually funny? you might be surprised to know I like the low brow stuff. the scene in kingpin where he pays the rent is one of my favourites. Oscar worthy

I've seen both and they are highly disturbing - not worth your time!
