I can't beLIEve they are phasing barcodes out. It's the thin end of the wedge I tell ya.

After 50 years the end seems nigh for the humble barcode, which is set to be gradually phased out and replaced with a next-generation upgrade within two years

I know I will miss them when they have gone. Who can forget the classic from 2004; thick black, thick white, thin back, thick white, thin black, thick white, thin black, thick white, thick black.

We just need to go back to low tech bulletin boards from the late 90s where theres a very niche topic of close to no value so that its not worth the bots to spam and scam.

Like a watersports forum that only communicates in conspiratorial riddles

I do hope theres some sort of russian spy organisation trying to work out what is going on in this place.

What about the guy with the barcode tattoo that scans as a pack of Winnie Blues. His life is ruined.
