My Vessel is a 34 foot sailing Catamaran. Gemini 105MC I bought it in Fiji and sailed it back single handed, Via Bundaberg and down to Broughton Island where I got chucked up on the beach due to severe weather while parked to avoid a severe storm that Flattened Port Stephens,
I thought I would be safe in Miranda cove, But the wind changed from the north to the south and came straight up the inlet throwing me up on the beach and rocks,
I trucked it down to Yaringa Marina, where I had a supposedly good repairer to repair my Cat,
Long story short,
The repairer had it for FOUR years and I can still poke my fist thru the hulls, Even tho he had been paid $10,000-00 up front to complete the repairs,
As can be seen inside, The glass is so thin you can see thru it,
VCAT on the 7-6-2016 has rescinded my contract with this repairer and ordered he repay all Dry dock fees for four years as it was to be repaired in his workshop, and not kept in the graveyard deteriorating,
They have also ordered my deposit be repaid to me in full,
The work that has been done is sub standard and may have to be replaced,
Both hulls need replacing, 1/2 the length of the boat, both hulls, centre part, ends of both hulls are OK,only the underneath, all above the floor is undamaged,
As I dont know any Competant and reliable Boat repairers I am asking on here for any good repairers that you know that can repair my Vessel to survey standards as I want to sail it around Australia via the Kimberlys,
It is currently Located in the Graveyard at Yaringa Marina. Lumeah Road Sommerville Victoria,
It can be moved by adding a skin and towing it to a suitable place to be repaired, Its a bit big for road transport and the costs would be prohibitive,
