Hi there

I was wondering if anyone could help me further identify this equipment. I am selling it for a friend's friend and am not having much luck. I think the board is Roberto ricci designs - fun style L.. but can't find any more information about it. The boom is GAASTRA Slalom 160 - 220 alloy I think. The sail is also GAASTRA 6.5 Pilot (460 mast, 25 imcs, 202 boom, 470 luff, 10 base (I think )) however I can't find much information that matches this online. Lastly, the mast is GAASTRA ignition series (460 express 30 % carbon, weight 2.500 kg). What other information would I need to sell this and where can I find it?

I will be grateful for any help! Thanks!

OK seriously....

RRD have not called boards Small / Medium / Large since 2002-3 ish (??) so it is dated and not as good as a modern wide freeride.
Howvere to somebody who has got the basics on a learners board already, and are an average sized adult, it would be a pearler of a first board.
maybe $300 - $400 if it has not had water in it (ie: still light)

Boom maybe $150?

Sail could be quite current apart from the fact it looks like they tumbledried it (not a good thing) - very crinkled monofilm.
Mast also current

$300 each maybe...?

^^ I said maybe.
Like if it is good condition and a couple of years old. It is hard to assess age with a rolled up sail and I am unfamiliar with Gaastra stuff, but the mast looks like it has VERY little wear on the printed logo panel.
$300 for a 2 y/o mast with stuff all use is about right. Like I said i dunno the age though with a pic of gaastra stuff.

Yes the board is old, but let me know where you can get a 10 y/o beginners board, OK boom, OK sail about 5yrs old, and a near new mast ALL for $300 and I will buy it for you as a present.
The board is worth 300 to anyone.

The board looks okay. I've seen similar setups at garage sales around Xmas going cheap.

look, the gear is basically redundant
there is not enough people taking up the sport
windsurfing shops are full of this ol crap
nobody committed is that interested. ......unless its redonk cheap
30% carbon mast........rubbish
10yr old alloy boom......rubbish
gastra sail that looks about 10yr old.....rubbish
board that looks bigger that the titanic....rubbish

now you can try and sell it to some sap that doesnt know much ( mark australia ) for up to 1000 but if u really wanna sell it and make it appeal to a more windsurfers
then you could sell the lot as rubbish for a couple hundred bucks, a lot more people would be interested at that price as its a bargain
but reality check, its just a bargain on what is to most sailors completely unnecessary rubbish
so yeah, my advice is you should sell it cheap and quick......or you can do what half the saps do, and try and sell it for a 1000, you might get lucky, the five people in the country that might have walked into that right hand, might just come along for you

looks like your lucky day hscott......have you met Mark
