KTM seem to be doing some interesting things of late.
They have their all new 350cc Freeride, at around 70% of the price of their 350 EXC's.www.ktm.com.au/Freeride-350-2013
They are also bringing in the Six Days Variants this year. Awesome looking bike, with 'pre-fitted' KTM Factory Components as stock on the Six Days Version.
Here's a photo.

They are also rolling out the All Electric Freeride, but not in Aus this year. But it is ready and available in other markets.http://www.ktm.com/gb/freeride/freeride-e/highlights.html#.UFBZ8hzCwuo
Obvious Low Noise advantages.
The Freeride looks good however the estimated fuel range of 60kms makes it pretty restrictive
Beta had done something similar using WR250 engine.
I hope one day KTM either sort the PDS issues or go back to progressive rear linkage like the 350SXF.
I used to own a 300EXC. Great bike until I rode a TM250EN. Then I knew what suspension is meant to do! Ohlins changed my life, pitty the engine was an angry little bee (great fun!) that was very unreliable (not so great fun).
The 6 days versions are flying out of the dealers show rooms. I wonder if the trick bits is makes you faster or just carpark bragging rights.
You thinking of buying one Simondo?
Just remember, if you have race numbers, you get no assistance!
If not sure if they can be ridden by Gay Immigrants who arrive on more powerful, quicker turning boats than last year.
