I new this last move would be hard...but I am totally over it...
I have had to cook breakfast lunch and dinner on this for over 8 weeks
(it feels like a year lol)
This was my last kitchen dinning room

Monday whinge over....
Now I have embarrassed myself I am outside to chop some wood
Its all good.
You just need a bessa block and timber book shelf and a couple of milk crate seats and it will be perfect.
Lol lotofwind I don't want to go back to my young years...
Oh wait..I did not have bessa blocks as shelving when I was young
I had funky orange shelves from Myer...lol
Yes it's all good I just can't see it yet...ho bl@@dy hum
Looks like our place a few years back. We had a 4ft kitchen sink cupboard & a trestle table with a sheet over the plates & food for 6 mths whilst renovating...worst part was - I was designing & installing (very nice $15-20k+) kitchens every day, just too busy to do our own. Even the missus wasn't fussed as everything was right there in front of her. A few friends & family members guilted me into doing our kitchen in the end.
Just remember...it's all about the journey!
I can see a cheap upgrade path for this kitchen - plug the hotplate into a PID temperature controller with an immersion temperature probe and, optionally, stick a vacuum extractor on top. You may find that visitors treat you with a lot of respect and keep asking you cryptic questions [}:)]
Of course, this is all for cooking Sous Vide.
Gd that is the cleanest meth lab Ive seen all week, even the kiddies are playing outside, well done . you go girl
