This can really get into your bones man.
It started out just muckin arount with my kids. It really uses a lot of energy.
Gettin more and more serious. Thinking about it to much. Worried its becoming an
obsession. Doing it everyday.
Everyday I'M SHUFFLEN

Wow man, that brings back some memories. remember like yesterday getting the Melbourne sharpie haircut when I was 13 growing up in the south western suburbs of Sydney. From there it kinda evolved into the mullet. the greatest haircut that ever lived

Very Aussie and sounds like done to the tune of the legendary "Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs".

Can you last the whole 9 mins & 46 seconds?

Not all of us...I prob had a very similar hairdo as I have now...a little hair at back, none on top. (was <12mths old)

Sharpies were Aussie, but the movement was based on British punk fashions & attitudes at the time (from what I was told).

Dunno whether you've you tubed "shufflin" or not Gwendy but there's some gold on there. Apparently started in Melbourne years ago and is just now going mainstream.

I was in Bali 3 or 4 years ago for my youngest bro's wedding.

My middle bro was living in Melbourne and would not shut up about the Melbourne shuffle.

The time came we were at The Bounty and after 15 fishbowls and 3 packets of Sampoerna he starts shuffling all around the place. Impressive for sure.

Not to be outdone I retaliated with some 70's / daggy / breakdance moves with handstands, knee drops, laybacks, spins etc. About 20 people clapped at the end.

Melbourne shuffle 0, Copied moves from Byron Bay weirdos 1.

That dance is new? Shuffling? Looks like how everyone danced at Adelaide raves in the 90s

Hey saus, hope ya not lettin the kids have all the fun. Use this vid to teach yourself without em knowing then come out and blow em away. you'll all be laughin ya heads off. I reckon I'm more buggered after 10 minutes of shufflin than a 10k bike ride. Using muscles in my legs I havn't used for years so I'm hoping for a performance gain in board skills
