The amphibious motor bike! Why did it take so long to figure that out?
( Like the way he resisted the temptation to pull on boardies over a wettie.)
OH joy! I just can't wait to see a whole lot of those in the line up.
Short boards boogie boards, mals,.. SUPs jet skis ,... . . . . trail bikes
I did look like fun though and his bike certainly had better insulation on the HT lines than any bike I've ever had.
Mostly they conk out just at the sight of water on the side of the road.
I wonder how well it floats when the motor carks it?
I have a feeling they stopped the vid when they did because they didn't want to show us the part where the bike sunk.
That's the bit I was waiting for.
Pretty cool and impressive.
But in the long run, you could just create a very thin jetski :)
can't see all that salt water being good for the bike...
With this you have to keep moving and don't want to nose-dive, since it has very little buoyancy when you are stationary.
Some of you are taking it too seriously. It's just a bit of a stunt. Never intended to replace the trailer with a trail bike and a jet ski. The video has him bagging a moderate wave and then blatting around the island looking for a bigger one, but it wasn't that easy.

Before someone gets really upset,.. I thought the vid was really neat.
I love the way people are always pushing the limit to try new things.
After all,, that's how we got some of our best gadgets, like windsurfers.
Someone thought to stick a sail on a big surfboard and didn't give up when the first results were less than spectacular.
Quoting Michael Caton......
Ahhhh.........the serenity!
(only thing better than serenity, is the scream of a two stroke at full throttle)
stephen
I want to see him get a rope do a tow in
Waleed on the Project tonight called it a fake / photo shopped .......... so I guess it is

Kinda like windsurfing !!
Don't get upset, i'm half joking !!
Lol, what happens when half a dozen of these in the lineup stop, nose dive or run out of fuel Makes 666 riders look like angels.
What about the days when the lineup will be dominated by tow ins, motorised surfboards and trail bikes - will they be screaming "F&$ OFF KOOKS" to traditional board riders

Artificial Reefs sponsored by KTM.
I saw an interview this morning & he was saying that it took 4 hours to rebuild it every time it sank & of course its fully modified .
So I don't think you have to be worried about them in the line up its just not practical for others.
