It quotes $12,000.00. That price doesn't change when you convert from US to AUD etc. But I think its $12k US. So about $16k Aussie.......................I think I will wait for the mass produced version.

Yeah there's enough rich people around the word that buy expensive stuff.
Nice glimpse at the future though. If battery technology goes the way everyone hopes, we already have brushless motors, there will be small electric motors on all sorts of things.

Please, please replace jet-skis.

I... actually want one. That they are silent sold me.

Any idea on battery life? 1 hour. I guess you could pack a spare for your return journey?

yeah but battery tech is improving so quick.

reckon they would be good in tourism like the guided segeway tours wherever there is deep but sheltered water.

They'd be awesome around the canals, broadwater, rivers and ocean of the Gold Coast. Made for it.

I can see someone seriously injured with all these high speed hydrofoils designs coming on the market.
Thinking more like some poor swimmer cut in half.

It's actually cheap compared to a normal set of foil kites and foil board. Comes to about the same.
Benefit here - no kite necessary - just stand and get bored to death really.
