I have a ~workshop, but it's my man cave, ie the Mrs won't put her stuff in it or tell me what I can do to it.
Likes: The air compressor's retractable hose.
Dislikes: The dust, it's uncontrollable I've tried sealing every nook and cranny with the spray foam, but it's still everywhere.
Just looking for inspiration, or a laugh at the inevitable rusted shed photo.
I don't think you'll be laughing at my rusty shed Flysurfer. There's sand on the floor coz I don't wash my gear...or clean my shed... and I don't care. It was 25knots today, Woot!
That's impressive gazuki, id never go back in the house!! Don't get envious of others often, but that man cave made me a tiny bit jealous...
... far out mick, you keep me laughing mate.
When the house Reno's is finished there will be the most epic of man caves lol, this it the storage facility atm ??
^^^^Yes,
they clean them
If they are that clean, its not a man cave,
Its a place the missus lets you hang out in as long as you keep it cleaned up to her standards.
Man up Australia, stand up for your rights to have a messy area to call your own.
A man cave should have cob webs in the corners,
saw dust on the floor,
empty beer cans and bottles,
a swimsuit model calendar hung proudly on the wall,
a mate passed out on the floor in the corner from the night before,
and lots of tools and electrical power tools covered in a thick layer of dust as you don't really know how to use them, but they were on special at bunnings
Or maybe that's just my shed.
^^^^^^ The car is taking up valuable man cave real estate That's a pool table location, not ya missus car.
The only time a car is allowed in a man cave is if it is half dismantled and you have been trying to rebuild it for the past 12years.
To maximise space in the shed I built my vertical board storage rack system that you hand winch to raise and lower, Tig welded up out of 304 stainless so it won't rust. Allows all my boards to be stored over a small foot print and still allows the cars to fit in. All other gear is neatly stored in a neat clean orderly way on shelving so everything has its place. I also wear a pocket protector and pull my socks up to my knees.
