Strong winds in the Aussie Alps have created Australia's latest beach break - Lake Jindabyne!

Lived at Jindabyne for a year and saw it a few time, No-one ever took me serious when I told them people surf it. I've Windsurfed it and must say it's probably one of the best fresh water lakes I've ever sailed, Seriously cold though. It has some of the biggest wind chop/waves I've ever seen, Resembles the Gorge when it's on fire.

Nice to see a pic of it.

I'm from Vicco and I reckon that looks too farking cold for me.....do they get snow run off into that joint?

You must be talking about Perth in Scotland, I've heard the surf there is non existent
