Went to the delhi, only one person serving so passed up on buying some chilli olives. Then went to front checkout to see a queue of around 30 at the 6 scanning machines, one of which was not working. Reckon around a 10 minute wait at the delhi with another 15-20 minute wait at the front. I ditched the basket and went to the library.

Gee Pweet! I would expect better from you by now. You really are slipping.
Just start at the back of the Q and engage the person in front of you in a conversation on any of your pet conspiracies,
chem trails, vacinations, 9/11 chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and epilogue,.
As each one quickly leaves, just work your way up towards the front of the Q.
My guess is you would be head of the Q within 2 minutes.

We've started shopping online and it's great. Not only do wollies have free delivery we also avoid impulse shopping and save heaps of time. We usually put in the order Friday night and have a weeks worth of shopping delivered on Sunday night after the kids have gone to bed...

I am surprised you would entertain the idea of purchasing chili olives from a oligarchic company like woolworths, firstly the workers both in Australia and those that are involved in production are exploited financially, emotionally and metaphysically. The 'chilli' used on the olives is in fact a refined version that contains traces of LSD and the resulting LSD high is misinterpreted as a chilli high. While under the affects of the 'chilli' high it is well known that the oligarchs log into to your computer and stereotype you for marketing purposes while sending subliminal messages through your monitor to sublimate your natural defences to ensure you become indoctrinated to the marketing paradigm they dictate. This then ensures that you continue to slave day after day week after day robotically and without questioning the true nature of the chilli olives.
Our self help group have performed some circle work regarding the sublimation via impregnated olives and have in fact identified a reversing technique that we can share with you. We call it triple colonic irrigation through intensified garlic treatment. We can in fact, using the latest technology flush the colon, resulting in in a subliminal mind purge with a mixture of garlic, (organic of course) and massive quantities of pear juice. This takes a week and you are guaranteed to come out of the program with a clear mind and colon. The cost is not prohibitive and we can do this for $4 500.

And anyway Pweet, what are you doing shopping at Woolwoofs?
I definitely remember a few years ago, you posted a picture of their new logo and strongly implied they were part of the New World Order because you saw 666 in their logo.
Have you decided now that if you can't beat them, then join them?

It's the chemicals that they spray outside their doors, it drags you in. They were experimenting with dropping them from a plane, but it was too hard to target people and someone finally cottoned on to them.

Yeah of course!!! Everyone goes to a supra market and they could condense the dose.
I guess that's why free thinking, veggie growing hippies see all the lies for what they are!
They never go inside and stop short at the bins.....

what type of circle work can your self help group perform?

Does it involve dounts, figure 8's or handbrakeys??

Circle works and self help sounds more like it involves the budgie tongue, not a V8

Has anyone following this thread ever eaten Lama?

There are quite a few of them about in hobby farms on the Mornington Peninsula. I know they are used for wool and it was all groovy to own and breed them in the late 80's. But I've never heard of them as a dish.

They'd probably be really good in a hungi

You would not want to eat them too often or you'd be eating a Da-li Lama

Yup I've done that... Specially after seeing the choice of fruit; it's so pathetic it just makes me angry... ironic they call themselves "the fresh food people"... my cat won't eat things from the deli.

Menulog.com.au usually saves my night and gives me 10% off.

Great shots of the markets and I bet most is organic too.
We think we've got it made in Australia but when I see photos from
Other country's the people are well dressed 'even though they are 3rd world'
And look how well done these displays are, we can be lazy at times.

Not allowed to do that in Australia because it is unhygenic.

And also because no multi-national bunch of Arseholes are making money from it.

They all look very well and happy to me.

Those photos are awesome! Love it! The reason we don't have that here (apart from hygiene rules) is called 'employment'. All the photos show self-employed people trading goods they've invested in so they present them to sell them. The sales are their income. Their incentive is to sell. They woke up well before the crack of dawn to get all that ready and beautifully presented. They're competing against all the others selling the same stuff and if they don't just want a race to the lowest cut-throat price then they try to differentiate by presenting a bit better than your neighbouring seller.

Now switch to Australia... The owner is far, far removed from the actual business activity. The people working derive their income from selling their time and not from the sales revenue so they have no incentive to sell...or get up early...or work on the presentation. And there's no competition!

I love the markets of developing countries...but there are times when I'm tired or just can't be bothered haggling that I just wish they'd stick a price label on the damned thing and be done with it! :)

Me and my brother used to eat chook pellets.

When they opened up the old Albany whaling station to tourists I discovered they sold the leftover stuff after they boiled down the whale remains to the company that made chook pellets. couhg cough,.. gag,.. choke,.
They were sooo cheap too.
But apparently they were quite nutritious. No wonder I'm so fit.
The chooks really liked them so why should they have all the fun?
Anyone for some more chook pellets while I'm up?

So, whaling is actually a natural, organic, nutritious foodstuff. Let's sink Sea Shepherd, get the Japanese to bottle the whale leftovers in white plastic bottles as pills and sell it to us as an exorbitantly-priced health food!

See! From Woolies to Whales in twenty-three posts. Or from "Shooting the Breeze" to "Heavy Weather". Genius!
