As per title- sick and tired of Lifeproof failing. On my 3rd one in under 5yrs, and I have always glued up the old ones to stretch them out as long as possible. I reckon average life if you nuture the damn thing like its your child, would be 10mths max.
Now I see all the reviews seems nobody gets a year out of the POS.
Their warranty was good, no questions just post you a new one, but unfortunately I didn't fit the last new one for a few months (glued up the damage again) and now I have a failure at 16mths (when real usage is well under a year) grrrrr silly of me a snow it looks like they may deny claim.

Anyway looking for something similar- not huge and bulky, some impact protection and brief immersion protection.

Googling shows pouches and boxes etc for water sports, but I want an everyday case that's not big. And real user recommendations....

Otterbox out of the question as its same company as Lifeproof and they can jam it.

Had a few of these for my iPhone. Stuck my phone though the wash (machine) about a year after I first put the first case on and it came out dry. Cheap but the sound is a bit crap with regard to the mic.

I drop test it about every second day and it holds up well. Never had any damage to the phone and still looks brand new.

Starting to think a non waterproof case like Ballistic (cheap) and a glass cover (cheap) and just don't go near water with it

I only wanted waterproof as I almost went on the water with it a couple of times but never actually walked past knee deep. Remembered just in time...... Buutttt who wants to bet what happens if I have a non waterproof phone cover hahahaha

Got these from previous phones. Worked well.
Sorry cannot remember which iPhone they fitted - Cases 7111C, 6930B and 6930A. Two X rubber covers a bit loose.
You are welcome to have them.
