I was shopping tonight and was about to buy some silverbeet/spinach when I remembered some Landyacht and I spotted some growing in the drain along our local highway, so, off I went to do some late night harvesting. Got a large bag full, came home, washed, cut, cooked and scoffed the lot. Bloody beautiful tucker. Haven't tasted such fine cuisine in a long while

I found a nectarine/ peach tree (not sure until it fruits) on the road into Inji Carpark the other day. Looks like someone threw out a pip and its taken on the side or the road. I now have a cool fruit tree in my front garden!

We have perpetual wild Italian Parley... I make sure I let I plant go through to seed... Self seeds each year. You can eat it like a salad, or at least a salad additive... it is mildly strong in flavour... But amazing good for you... Through the roof in VitC and Iron, and other great stuff...

Many fresh seaweed varieties are also amazing... give it a try...

Ferral fruit trees [biggest mobs] abound along the Reisling trail into Clare apparently in the days

of steam people took home foods in their baskets as they ate they pinnged

their seeds out the window [that you could open]. Tour coaches helped spread watermelon

all around before seedless, 40 munchin lunching on a beaut big wm then broadcasting the seeds allover
