Hi all, was hoping someone may have been (or lives) in Barbados during August. It appears that the windy season dies around the beginning of July. Will be heading there for a few weeks (been there many times, but never in August), and am wondering if I should even bother bringing gear. What say you all?...any hope at all to get some sessions in (foil or TT)? Thanks.

I went there 20 years ago for a friends wedding in the middle of August. There certainly was enough wind to go kiting. Maybe check with the "Action Shop" in Silversands. They do both windsurfing and kiteboarding rentals and would be able to let you know what the wind situation is. Or at least you might be able to rent gear in case it is windy and you decided not to drag out gear half way around the world.

It's certainly one of the furthest places to travel to from Australia.

Don't take anything with you that was a present from your mother.
