Hello, for the fun of sharing, here a little video clip I made for the spirit of sailing when the windsurfing time is at the end of the season, at least for us in Montreal region, Canada.

Wish you a good winter!

Cheers

Thats really cool . I enjoyed it .
Could I get some more info on the boards .
I now use a long board with drop through trucks so I can get higher speeds without death wobbles like i was getting.
I don't have foot straps & i noticed yours seem to be more of a metal hook .
I might make some up .
Must be nice to do with others.
Out in western Sydney were I go I don't think most people have seen a windsurfer let alone a wind skater so Im viewed as a bit of a weirdo
By most people who walk by .
Gardener got the sack there did they?

:) HI Actiomax

We have some public parking spots on suburb to take the bus or train to go to Montreal. The weekend it's empty. No problemo!

Fore sure with many windskaters it's better at least for the slalom. It's a bit why I did this clip, to try to get more friends windskating with me there, so we could have more slalom. : )

For the board, a video is comming soon to talk about it. :)

Must trash your booms and sails?

Yes, it's bad for the boom and the top of the sail. Better put something over the top for protection. : ) But, it's good for so many years that is worth it! Enjoy!

Its mot as bad as you think my username.
Because most times you can step off board onto the ground & hold sail up still.

i imagine you would have some old sails anyway. Just all the sails in the vid look pretty nice. I'd have some dirty old full mylar thing.

Needs more downhaul though...
A longer skate would be ideal I guess, looks like a good way to recycle old gear!

I used a long board with drop through trucks when you really want to blast you don't get the death wobbles.
What I did was make a plate that bolts on the top with the truck bolts & drilled &tapped out thread for mast base .
