Not a deliberate plug for my kite but **** its good in marginal winds(9M Lithium/20m lines)..I was worried not even getting off the beach but instead had enough pull to get 30 or more good waves in between Trigg and Brighton. It was glassy and raining half the time kite didn't drop once.

9M kite - (give it any name you like) in 10kts.
sounds like something smellier than desperation to me !!!

Spent heaps of time sitting with my apres work drink watching the City to Trigg guys moving thru.
NEVER ever ever seen a 9M kite pass in anything like 10kts. Not even close.

(NB the vid didnt play so stand to be corrected but I seriously doubt I'll be posting a retraction.)

Yeh I will get some footage next time it surprised me too as there was barely a breeze..but I think it had that cool dense wind and glassy conditions helped. The Vid was a screenshot puppet. I wouldn't normally chase it this light..but will be allot more.

It's that board. I brought a second hand 5'10 mini driver 6 months ago to kite on when I was living over there in WA. Didn't know much about them, just liked the dimensions. Found out I could drop kite size straight away. Normally an 8m, would ride a 6m. Sometimes hard to get going, but once up and planing. Mint.

Not trying to sound like a d_ck here, but when Ocean Reef is 30knots . Swannies is normally 5 to 7 knots lighter. But in reality its the same.

Say Swannies is 12knots, it might have been closer to 14 or 15. That is like 50% more wind than 10 knots.

I need green to kite on my 9m on a twin tip and im only 80kgs.

Yep agree Swanny graph is useless. Ive been told its tucked away down in the dunes at the rifle range or the military base??
Whatever its never accurate.
