We have an issue with a 22 model north carve turning slower one way to the other, using bar that my 7 north carve Flys perfectly on ,double, triple checked bar ,bridle and even checked the symmetry of the canopy and the only way I can make it fly nearer to even is to have light bar pressure setting one side and heavy the other has anyone had similar issues ,could it be canopy stretch maybe maybe ?? It's doing our heads in normally such good kites

If I'd thoroughly checked all the things you have stated my next move would be to investigate if there is anything going on with the bladder or inside the LE. It's rare but we've taken bladders out and found heaps of sand in there, this can and will make a kite fly strange. I've also experienced bladders not seating well effect the flying characteristics of a kite.

Failing that write it off and buy a Reo

What width is the bar you're using for the 7m? It shouldn't make it slower one way to the other but if I fly my 10m on my 45cm designed for smaller kites it's super slow. This could be making the issue seem worse.

I had a switchblade that did similar about a 2014 model could not find the problem witchcraft

Most likely a twisted leading edge. it only takes a very slight curve on one side of the leading edge to cause this and it would be barely noticeable with close inspection.

There was a problem with 2014 kites apparently the different colour dye/paint on the LE was the cause a known issue but not advertised. It affected older kites more. I had 1-2 partial refunds/ replacements of these kites but only because I bought them second hand.

Hard to believe it would be happening with a recent carve (single colour dye usually). Put your kite pumped on a dead flat surface and check if the leading edge is 100% even. May be a bladder issue (sometimes get twisted in LE esp after being replaced), or uneven at the wingtips. Lightly pump up the kite and give the bladder a good "massage".
