What's with the graph showing an 80knt gust last night?!
It's really screwed up the scale.

A year or two ago there was a 100kt 'gust' west of Noosa, they called it a mini cyclone. I had come off the water at lake Cootharaba about an hour earlier - good thing or I would have been dead. Was nearly dead anyway, trees were coming down all around our tent, which was mostly collapsed on top of us from the force of wind n hail as we huddled in it trying not to crap ourselves. Others lost their tents entirely, never to be found again. When we left the next day the roads were just passable, SES out chainsawing everywere.
scary stuff!! we had a cyclone come through our estate about a year ago in Australind took off half our roof, about 5 trees in our pool couldn't even walk out the front door there was sh!t everywhere. guys house next door was gone, lucky he was up North on a holiday took a long time to clean everything up. also got some $cash$ claimed my surf boards and a few other things that got blown away very lucky.
Geez, with that kind of wind, if you could stand up with a hanky you'd beat the new 50knot speed record convincingly
