I probably don't change my lines often enough. I'm in Europe at the minute and have damaged a line. Someone has recommended a guy in Ireland.....new replacement 23m ozone lines 90 Euro.
I'm going to order a set in August as he's on holiday. I will report back.
He's also making me a 10m set to try out short lines. 45 Euros makes it an easy trial.
Any other alternatives around that people have tried.
These are the linesets available from any Ozone dealer for kitesurfing. Be careful when fitting a different brand of lines to a branded bar, and always check after fitting that the safety system works properly and that bar is in trim.
All the below listed lines can be joined together loop to loop to make a very large range of lengths. Ozone lines are no longer sleeved and can be easily joined, pigtails to terminate the lines can be ordered separately.
I got the replacement lines from Ireland. Seem very good. Slightly glossier than the ozone originals so a bit easier to walk out....less tangle. Time will tell. I got a 23m set, a 10m set and a repair to a nearly new set of 15m lines. Total cost 200 Euros plus postage. I was in Europe so only a few Euros.
He goes by the name Kite Repair Slav and will send to Australia. I think he'll make up any replacement lines.
