Its not compulsory - only happens when Siam Park sponsors a windsurf event and the windsurfers promote the Park in return.

Same people, a week earlier with some wind.

Wow, windsurfing has come a long way at the top end since I used to do. Even felt a little nostalgic watching this.

Those aeriels are pretty hard core and make no mistake they are high risk moves. - Breakages are commen and not just with the gear.

I do believe a sector of the kiting world will go back to aeriel moves, there is so much left to explore and develop here,

and we have the advantage of taking off with a kite and landing with a parachute, unlike the windsurfers who are fighting gravity all the way down.

Isn't that video a reason to be a pole dancer?

You get paid to hang out at a nice resort. You get to play with some toys in a nice big pool. It's warm. There's some hot chicks about. What's not to like?

You may have a parachute but windsurfers have a wing, look at some of the hang time in the video posted, and its visualy better to watch imo

Windsurfing will progress in the future when they take the foot loops off.
Like the coolest progressive duds have done for kitesurfing.

Why don't windsurfers want same design boards like a board hugger does, got me baffled

They have slowed down the video on a few of the jumps, so not all the hangtimes are as long as shown. They have slowed the video in a few other places for effect too.

Wow - some big and high risk moves in that second video for sure.

How on earth do you learn that stuff? These guys know what they are doing and they risk a world of hurt, let alone trying to huck these moves while learning.

Reminds me of that joke about the difference between guts and balls...

There's no easy way - they do get hurt.

Wow,,,I would hate to be the dude hurt ,when your mate that is filming see's your hurt and just rides away from you screaming at other people to help you????

Why didnt the guy with the gopro cam stop and help instead of cruising past and yelling at others???

Maybe the name of the thread does fit........."Änother reason not to be a pole dancer"

At least in kiteing we tend to look out for each other and help each other out if in trouble.

Well, it looks to me that the dude saw that his friend was being held by another dude, and he had to get the message back to shore to get help NOW!
Just the way I saw it, could be wrong...

Boujmaa was unconcious and they needed to get a boat to him asap.
The guy in the water was Klaus Voget, a team mate of Boujmaa who was keeping his head above water until help arrived.
The guy getting to shore and getting lifeguard help was doing the right thing in the circumstances.
Boujmaa has recovered fully.

For some reason mate I dont think there would be too many windsurfers that follow seabreeze that would help you out . I wonder what that reason could be
