I am stuck in Albury for a while and I am starting to get desperate. Lake Hume is 15 minutes away and I am getting mixed messages from the local about the possibility of kiting there. I know they have motorboats, sailboats, windsurfers. I am just wondering if anyone has tried it and whether it ended badly

I used to windsurf there years back. If you are happy to put up with gusty wind it should not be a problem. Now that there is not much water in it if you cannot get back you can always walk round!

Thanks Japie. Will go check it out.

Rhys! Don't even think of riding my board before I do! :-)

No worries Tan. Bear in mind where you see trees sticking out of the water there are likely to be some below that you cannot see so stick to the deeper sections. Interesting to see how you go!
