On the board market again.thanks for all the help on my last post about fitting boots.
whats the difference between-
'Block Inserts' and 'Single Inserts' …
Is there any way to tell the difference ?
what are plastic track systems ??
another stupid question from me.
thanks.
I was in the same boat as you. Wanted to start riding boots and wasnt sure what board. But at the end of the day you put alot more stress on the board by using boots (you will find out the first time you catch an edge) so I wend down the wake style path. Every board that is built for wake style has block inserts and is build strong enough to handle them. Long story short, buy a tona, you wont regret it, my pop has outlasted 3 boots, 2? liquid force and 1? hyperlight system.
Iv forgotten the original question now so sorry, but I hop this helps anyway
not really any way to tell the difference just by looking. It should be in the boards description, or the shop should tell you. If you want boots its probably ideal to find block inserts. Most top brands will have block inserts in their wakestyle/freestyle boards. Try to avoid the track system at all costs, they are all pretty average. They either slide around (most common issue) or rip out. Never seen one last really well. Try get a block insert board if you can
Every Cabrinha board uses blocks to mount the inserts, capped with extra reinforcement - while everyboard is not tuned to ride perfect with boots they are all strong enough.
Cheers
