We were just up the north west and a friend scored a trip in a tinne to go fishing for Mackies & Tuna. At one point they had whales breaching either side of the boat, so close he could see the barnacles. Bit worried about the boat staying upright, and reckons it was one of the experiences you remember for life.
Later, out kiting, we saw sharks. Personally, I'm a fan of keeping 10km away from sharks!

did you see any with scars on there backs going past ? Gero kiters have been using them for sliders on the way up north.
