Looking at the new cabrinha boots H3. in hand they look like the neatest boots iv ever seen... im not a cab fan per se, but i get a sense of quality when holding and looking at the boot. their biggest size was too small... dammit! thats a form of racism. BUT thats not the point of this post....

what i want to do... all of you... is pull out your boots, old and new, put them on the kitchen scales and lets compile an independent weigh in of all boots.

I have two to submit first up. I am wondering how much weight is getting dropped in each years improvements. Include sizes as i assume thats going to make a couple g's difference

Liquid Force Cradle........2012.....Size US 11-14..... Weight 1.02kg
Jobe Vanity...................2012.....Size.US 8- 11......Weight 1.18kg

Ideally you will cut & paste or quote in the thread and build the list, can be pasted into spreadsheet later, and put up on wikipedia.

good point and one i hadnt thought of. the new cabs look like they wouldnt hold much water due to the material used. but sheeez they were fkn tight.
i have weighed the above dry. and no im not going to wet them and weigh again. maybe later if im drunk and bored.
i have been researching bindings and none of the prod descriptions specifies weights. hence thread.
got any input lambie?

I'm going from pop to axis don't think the heaviest boots on the billy would bring me up to the pop with the lightest boots on.

Never used to notice the weight at all anyway the chat on scoops good though and shows how much water soaks into a boot. Funny how the ronix is the lightest but sticks in more weight than the systems.

Hey craggers
Have you checked out the scoop. It has already been done for you.

superb. short cut to the result i was chasing.

now just need to find the open toe list...
i need open toe, as every close toe i have tried, despite being exactly my size, i have found too tight, sometimes on the toe, sometimes around the girth of the foot etc.. my preference is softer boots that are (by others standards-) 'loose'. this may be contreversial, but if i take a mega rag doll slam, i have had the edge catch and my foot pop right out of the boot. i dont want to know what would have given if the boot was so snug my foot couldnt come out.... i have a phobia after snapping a leg with super tight snowboard boots.

I have these super light ones, they are backless and frontless and they weigh hardly anything compared to the chunky things you guys have.
