Hi guys and Gals,
Im coming up to Airlie Beach in 2 weeks for work and thinking of staying for some kiting days.
Hows the wind at present? i have never kitted there before and thinking of Bowen, Alva and any other spots??
Keen to get in with locals and have some fun.

Can you give me any feedback and it is much appreciated?

The wind has been pretty good the last 2 weeks - looks like it will drop out on the back of this cyclone and then reappear Wed/Thursday with any luck
usually about 17-25 so 11 should fit right in

Wind here in bowen has been awesome for last 2 weeks. has dropped off for now but will hopefully be back soon. if the wind is SE the front beach is the go. Which is at the end of the main st. If its ese or e Then the don river mouth is good. There are a few people that travel from airlie to bowen almost all the time. Check our fb page out " blowen bowen kiteboarding" hope to see you out there
