Hehehe... banning certain board types... that's funny.

Shall we ban the boogie boarder and sup riders, maybe we should ban those pesky pole dancers. Bloody swimmers get in the way. Ban them too. Wake stylers crashing kites every where, Ban those rude bastards. bloody strapless sb riders practicing tricks and body dragging back to their boards all the time. Ban them dangerous buggers. Those stupid hydrofoil riders with their floating axes. Ban the fark out of them.

What about those surf life saving guards saving lives, disrupting Darwins theory of evolution by not letting the stupid and week remove themselves from the gene pool?

Bloody sharks nibbling on people... we should cut their fins of and make soup.

I know what we should do. We should build a wall and we will make the sharks and the life guards and the tt riders, boogie and sup boarders pay for that wall.

But you know what. We don't want ginga's either. That red hair is just wrong, brown hair too.... that doesn't fit my surfing Image.
No! only white dudes and chicks with blonde hair and blue eyes will be allowed inside my wall of surfboard riding supremeness.
OH there shouldn't be any uggo's or fatties either.

But you can't be a white dude with out a bronzed tan. No untanned people are allowed in behind my wall.

Oh **** just a minute. I'm an untanned brown haired white guy. ****. I'm not allowed inside my wall..... Fark.

Well there's only one thing left for me to do. Go an ride my board, bike, buggy, foil and give no farks what anyone else is riding.

Don't forget the fisho's. Been jagged 3 times!!

Also, love my mutant in the surf

This whole twintip vs surfboard vs foil crap is just ridiculous. Kiting is such versatile sport and has something for everyone. This tribalism is pointless. IMHO versatility is what makes a good kiter. The ability to choose your toy for the conditions you enjoy riding in is what makes this sport so interesting. Beginners are beginners they are dangerous no matter where they are. Weather in the surf or on flat water. You where dangerous once to.

Exactly my point. Foil and sb and TT do all coexist very peacefully in my car and I like mixing it up. When I was younger I did not limit myself to one gf either.

I'm just all about the safety. Seen way too many injuries caused by twinnies in the surf. Mutants a little less, but still much more dangerous than a surfboard. I still think there should be regulations put in place banning them from the surf. Flat water is much less dangerous for them imo. No board racism, just don't like seeing good men get hurt.

Haha this guy....., we all know the type. He is funny though.

I think there should be regulations put in place which effectively prevent surfingboye's from making abject dicks of themselves by uttering what can only be described as a load of unadulterated poppycock thereby bringing their long suffering parents back into that zone, which they have probably been in far too many more times than they can care to remember, which is wishing that on that one occasion a couple of decades ago they had practiced the withdrawal method successfully.

The sad thing for this guy is that this guy is about 30yo. Authenticity and respect are virtues in life but some people just develop slowly. I am sure Sboy will get there eventually. Back to the topic: Awesome vid!

This sort of cockdem is alive and well in every sport out there.

The rugby players think they are better than soccer players, surfers don't like the sup guys and boogie boarders. The half pipe skaters look down at the long boarders, the downhill mountain bikers shun their noses at the cross country riders, the mountain bikers take the piss out or road cyclists.

It just goes to show there are dick's in every sport.

You should be banned from Seabreeze.

Agreed...it's fun to have some banter back... I'm sure SB boy is just stoking the fire...funny as...

then again maybe we need another back slapping 'built me own foil board DAd', thread that comes with a free virtual community dck suck, ball tickle , gleeful fairy clap...for every Homer Simpson construction posted....

nah lost dog what you need to do is lose the straps, get newtered, then bang on about you've evolved, upskilled and left the TT kooking behind you... and god forbid these low skilled TT's can ever venture into the waves.

I've got some surface bound bottom turn and cutbacks to do...and plenty of guys taking the most god damn boring shots of it as well. 'Look at my caaaaaarrrvvve'....

Great vids Eppo. I've just bought a new twinny - Mako 150 and it arrives today - and I am frothing to ride more TT this summer. I love my SB and foiling but just want to ride something different at the moment. Those videos makes it so hard to go to work today.

I ride whatever gets me in the water. Surfing is my first passion but in summer out comes the kite . I do the surfboard when the waves are good , bought the 150 mako, but prefer to ride that as a mutant in downwinders. After spending 5 days in dongara with nuking winds it has reignited my love for my jimmy Lewis model 3 in the surf, that board is a chop eating carving weapon.

Copy that. It also requires a healthy level of self confidence to try many new things all the time and be able to look like a kook again at least for a bit.

Laughing at oneself no matter what the testosteron level is actually fun

Oh get fcked, seriously get fcked. Come and watch us in the surf. Most dangerous pricks I've seen in the surf are you strapless wankers getting pitched and rolled over. I would take you on in the surf anyday in any conditions, and just for good measure i will jump 30 or so for over your wiry surface bound head on the way out for good measure. Banned in the surf, where do you self righteous kooks get off? Go do another bottom turn and cut back over and over again...seriously boring sh1t man. safety, suck my big fat TT wang you over prentious gay board Newby rider. We were riding SBS back in 2000.... shhh it's not that special man...it really isn't....its not new, it's not harder, it's not evolved and it sure as hell doesn't discriminate a good TT rider from the waves either.

Serpiously smell your own sh1t for once will ya.

Read my post FFS! That video should be renamed 'Running Scared'!

The sarcastic point (that you totally missed) was in my use of the word "hardcore".

Is it really that hard to read five lines? Try reading line four...

Nah it's all good toppleover, we are all just letting it rip, been a while. was just trying to give some kind of distant voice among all the SB, fruity foilboard, fckn million permutations on the damn slider bar posts, GPS racing yaaawwwn stuff... for all those lads that still lock and load. Go big, go hard where the water is their crazy kind of motorcross track.

Each to their own. Honestly don't give a flying fck really.

But some of us, maybe a dying breed ... just keep it simple and try and ride as hard as they can.

Nice looking wave. Its too offshore. That's why all he can doo is crank upwind on the face. When its like this a high aspect kite like an edge is actually better than a wave kite. The wave kites lack of upwind ability limits what you can do on the face in off cross off condition.

I think this is where foilboards will have an advantage in the waves over an sb. You can easily crank another 15-20% upwind. This sort of wind angle will be easy peasy japanesey on a foilboard.

nice wind direction...would love to rip that to pieces on a Twin tip and a non wave kite....

Be honest with ya, about a month ago our local was going off swell and wind wise...(one of those once a year perfect condition day). There was a few local lads, plus a few windsurfers rolling down some really long awesome rides.

I had a less ideal peak a little upwind, but hey it was a perfect ramp, big over head spilling wall to ride back in...so I left the awesome waves to the lads and really enjoyed watching one particular local rip it up from my upwind position on his SB and small little wave kite. Drumming into some great pockets, getting spat out as he carved his way to top and bottom. Was nice to watch... we even waved to each other across a good 100metres knowing it was one of those great days.

But I could have joined them, and they wouldn't have minded. I'm sure they enjoyed some of my 30 foot or so jumps as they headed back out to the peak.

Where TTippers get a bad name is those douche bags that run along the flat section before a peak, going up and back, never entering the waves or the lineup...just sitting there like dribbling retards in the position you need to be to use the next section.

So I get the frustrations totally...I let them know quick smart if they start playing that caper. Or just ride at the kook at a million miles an hour..they quickly work out to stay the fck out the way.

I get SB's point to a degree actually, but don't lump all TT's in the same boat. And there is always plenty of strapless kooks getting in the way as well at times.

I have enjoyed the piss-taking in this thread, thanks for stirring it up for some entertainment.

Dribbling retards who mow the lawn, but feel they have to do their inside turn as close to shore as possible, so right in the surf zone, right across the breaking wave. WTF?!?!!! Not necessarily TT's, though they're over represented. Sometimes surfboard riders too. But especially windsurfers. Shocking that people can be so oblivious that they can't see they are screwing up the entire rotation.

Strapless kooks...<sigh>....been there. But I'll head in straight and wash up on the rocks if it means not wrecking the rider on the set wave behind! That's wave rider courtesy, no matter what the ride.

The problem with twintips in the surf is toeside riding and the fact that most of them are crap at it.
On a surfboard you are forced to get good on your toeside so you can move down through the lineup smoothly and in control.
Twintippers could quite happily spend their entire existence never getting off their heel edge which means they are mowing the lawn in one spot and getting in the way.

Watch someone who is good on a surfboard or twintip in the surf, they will both be able to kite fast and smooth on their toe side.
If you can't hold good speed or do a nice carve(without losing kite power or board speed) on your toeside, then you shouldn't be anywhere near the surf.

Riding toeside a skill .. haha. Jybing and riding back heel side, now that takes skill. Most crew ride toeside because they can't jybe then get dragged back downwind getting in the way
