Does anyone else agree with me on this one???

It's not isolated either... Do they have short tacking instructions included in the kite bag front pocket???

I have a cabrinha but i just downwind.... I dont understand tacking much... It seems like alot of effort...
The best thing about kiting is you dont have to be near anyone else if you dont want to....

unfortunately most people today don't even know what short tacking actually is. They are quite good at it and sometime manage as many as 3-4 in a row, now with 3 short tackers in a session I do sometimes manage to sneak a trick in every hour or so so all is not lost. Well actually it is. Tend to have some kind of high depowering kite enabling them to ride at what seems to be the standard 4km/h of today, ass is water, arms extended straight up to distant bar about 2m away. How kiteboarding has changed.

respect gets respect, problem is lots of kiters haven't come from a Boardsports background and haven't learnt to share the Stoke.

Is not racist, the brand of kite can often be traced back to a crew or local shop and possibly school culture.

So for example if you see a whole much of #brand kites stuck in trees then possibly #kiteschool is in the area.

Often people don't realise they have even done anything wrong, which is a little disturbing.

But if there is already a crew that are using the area then hopefully you can inform and maybe even self govern your patch.

some people don't/won't take any advise or change, others are glad you said something and take suggestions onboard.

Ezy way to sh@t up short tackers ... soon as you see them redirect , ... Jump.
Scares the sh_t out of them and if things go wrong you be the one crashing on them with your kite and lines above theirs .
Teaches them to look over their shoulder , i've tested it on eastern europeans ;)

What bugs me more than tacking are unhooked tricks and slamming a kite on top of someones head. Non of them Cab riders, for sure.

Today an RPM slammed in front of me, my kite looped, pulled me in his canopy, my kite landed on shore, powered.

I'm there waiting for him to do something, thinking what if my kite launches (can't see it), and this guy just floated with his boots on. I go left, his kite goes left, go right, his kite the same. wtf?
Ok, I tell to him go right and I'll go left, but nothing happens. I can't move, can't dive, can't do anything. My kite still pulling me into his canopy. I ask him is he all right?! Says yes. Me asking him, hey!?

I finally managed to go under his tensioned lines and free myself after 10 long minutes. Thank to the other rider who flipped my kite over so I could actually move. Than he relaunches and going on me like it's bloody my fault! My fault for his tensioned line on my neck, for God sake?!

And this happens again and again.

Guess from where is (are) this guys? Starts with F. They travel in a group of 4-5, white van and 4x4 Nissan. Pissed a lot of locals all ready.

line cutters are a handy thing in that situation and I would have used it within the first minute if I could not get free of his canopy, especially if your kite was still ready to be powered. That sucks
