Cervantes can be quite offshore on one side. If its just you out you can stick to the cross/on side to stay safe. You might get a crowd of 5-10 on a weekend maximum. Or you might be on your own. Its usually pretty strong like 5+ knots more than perth.

If you want to be in that area , then Green Head is the best around.

If I was in the area then I'd make the extra effort and hit up Dongara/ Gero surrounds

well he did mention 'sharky' (which insinuates something to me)...green heads is a long way out...and a long swim to the point if you mess up...

Yeah I was just playing, Greenhead can be ok,. it's my home wave so I'm biased.
Centres/ Fairweather is the main wave, just hit it on a high tide as there are a lot of bombies on the inside.
Launch just north of the jetty and it is a fair way out so even if it doesn't look good from shore it will once your out there.
Having said that it does need a bit of swell.
PM me if you are up this way and we'll head out.

Yep, the 7 ugly sisters on the inside are nasty on low tide and "hammer time", the reef just to the north is not a fun place to get stuck.
had it as my local from 95 to 99, good times.
