Is it just the angle in the photo or . . . isn't the toe-side supposed to be shorter? and is that a split on the RHS?
The goal is 10-15 knots hooked up to my 15m speed. Should make for a formidable light wind combo. over 15 i'll jump back onto the Mutant.

Yes that's a spit. Its vertically laminated bamboo. so it splits easily before glassing. No biggy the triaxle glass holds it together when laid up.
Yes toeside usually is shorter. I decided I wanted it on the healside for better upwind wave performance. Now I've decided to run dual set foot strap option. So I can change the bindings depending on conditions. Ultra low wind, bugger all swell, long side heal side . moderate light wind with swell short side healside.
I'm yet to cut in the second binding grooves
