Well not sure where she is hiding now, (or her ex that has been bashed up all summer)
But I believe the pic was taken at Fingal Bay, Port Stephens, NSW , on the spit looking out to Fingal Is,

Dear euro guy..

Please don't insult my intelligence by asking for a demo kite at our school knowing that you will never buy a kite. We see types like you all the time.. Usually driving wicked vans and launching from the dunes side. Our kites are not freebies for freeloaders.

They are for CUSTOMERS

Dear RPM,

I'm a euro guy, buying new gear here in Australia every year from local retailers.
(so far 7 kites and 4 Boards.)

Thanks for letting us know about your attitude.
I will make sure, never to buy from you and letting know my friends living here as well.

And I'm happy that you are not the WA shop I ordered gear from last year

Cheers

No problem Redkite. I won't lose any sleep.

7 kites and 4 boards.. That's quite a lot of gear.. Your the very first person I know that has ever bought that amount of gear.. By now you should be very good at the sport and not need any more gear.

Well I first thought of
"Dear convict,
Australia is Europe's playground. Deal with it."
but I don't want the Immigration to think I'm of bad character, cause I kind of like you guys, enough to want to stay for a while

But while I found the nice beaches I'm actually still looking for the hot surfer girls, any help here?

Ha,
"Seedy looking tanos was at the airport, and was getting his bags checked...
The customs officer finally was about to let him go but he had one more question.... Are you sure you dont have a criminal conviction?
Tanos replied...."Why do you still need one to get in"......
Enjoy your time here!

Hi All,

i am a Euro Guy. From Germany, Munich wellknown for many of you as the city which proudly has the ORIGINAL OKTOBERFEST.

Many Australian Tourist come to visit us in October. I can say: They can drink and are great friendly people

Anyway: beginners, idots, stupid people are everywhere.
At our crowded and gusty spots we have sometime real problems with unfriendly, unexperience and so on kiters..

Fact is: this sport is gowing. We all work together to keep it going on.

Last year i travelled to southern france. i had some bad feeling about the locals there.. After arriving , i spoke with locals, they explained the spot. no problems at all. I had a good time there.

in march i head now for perth with my family. i bring my kitestuff with me. 12QM Flysurfer Speed3 Del and 8qm Switchblade..

Hope to have a good time in you beautiful country I will do my my best to dont disturb somebody. Think there should e plenty of space regarding to our spots here :-)

I would appreciate it if somebody could send me informations for Spots where campgrounds are close.
By the way..i started kiteboarding in 2000 ..so i am not really unexperienced :-)

Greeting from snowy icy munich. Now is the time for snowkiting..

Dear Euro Guy,

If you decide to play loud music and have a general p*ss up on the beach and then take offense at locals asking you to respect other peoples right to enjoy the beach ,and then get bogged down to the axles in you'r crappy wicked van while leaving the beach, dont be surprised when all of the 4WD's leaving the beach just smile and wave as they leave!

Dear Euro Guys,

When you come to our country, please treat it as you should. With respect; to locals, to our culture and to our environment.

When three vans of you were living at Pinnaroo in the carpark and you threw all of three days worth of rubbish on the ground behind your vans because you couldn't be bothered to walk the 50m to the rubbish bins, that pissed me off. It pissed me off even more when I asked you to clean it up and you said it wasn't yours. Thank you for picking it up under threat of violence [}:)]

Because we are casual and fun loving doesn't mean we are stupid, or care less for our environment.

Please show a little respect, it's the way to earn some!

Tolerance and respect on both sides! The Euroguy who read this are the converted - they are reading the forums and informing themselves of local conditions and customs.

It actually doesn't matter if you're from 10,000km away or 10 - you'll do well to spend a minute and consider the "locals", and if you're a local and lord it over a visitor, don't be surprised if you cop some attitude.

I hope that we can address the "issues" regardless of who they come from, and give all a fair go regardless of his accent. Idiots and attitudes come in all flavours.

My 2c/rant over

On the lighter side-

An Asian woman goes in to her local NAB Branch and begins exchanging
her money. After the transaction is complete she asks the teller

"Why it change? Yesterday I get two hunat dollar for my money, today
I only get hunat eighty?"
The teller looked over his glasses and says very slowly...
"fluctuations".
The Asian woman narrows her eyes and says...

"fluc you Aussies too"

Steady eddies, don't generalise across the board, it is called bigotry. An English guy saved my bacon down at Augusta the other day, real nice fella'. Although he was complaining bitterly about the swiss, as the guy he got a lift from the hostel pissed off downwind and left him stranded there on a 9m in 30 knot winds. HE HE HE!

It could have been worse you could have put up your house for some new Zealanders!

Dear Euro Guy,

I know you may not have meant it and being on holiday halfway across the world you may have been caught up in all the fun and excitement that kiting can be. but then again maybe I am compensating for your ignorance by saying that?

Please don't rush into a cramped launch and land area and land your kite right on top of my kite that is about to be launched, and brush it off with a palm up head down, eyes hiding "Sorry, sorry".
Myself and my friendly kite launcher will not be too understanding next time you do so.

I do solemnly vow that next time you rush in thinking 'it's all about you' I won't bite my tongue and be so understanding of your ignorance. I will give you the serving you should have got and I will take your board that you left floating behind me and dump it mid river.
If you took a few seconds, I would have been launched and out of your way giving you room to land...

Dear euro guy the next time someone tells ya that a 12m in 25 to 30kts anint a good idea, listen then you won’t have to get outta control and take out another kiter. Ooops no wait I remember now you were an ozzy.

I can’t really fully explain just how ridiculous this thread is, but I am embarrassed by it, please change this thread from euro guy to visitor/tourist. It’s just insurmountably retarded and dam right rude to generalize Europeans as a single homogeneous culture of people. I mean geez it’s made up of 47 independent recognised countries with as many separate languages and cultures with a collective population of over 500million people.

Yes, I really have tried to ignore this thread, but it finally got to me. Damit!

Without getting in to an RSC type discussion I beg to differ vw.

The bell curve of people profiles across the world is the same. However, when you are talking about 500 million people, the outliers (those who kite in Australia this time of year) create a mass and a profile which has not been positive on many local beaches; otherwise there would not be so much discussion and threads like this.

Over and out, peace to all..........Jets win!

Ok,

I'm confused - as an Euro I don't really understand shall I wear my wetties under boardies or not?

I mean, it's not really comfy to wear boardies, they tend to slip quite low and sometimes I just can't hop on my board coz of it...Maybe that's just me:)
