Had my 1st kite lesson the other day and ended up with burned eyeballs, as did the others in the lesson.Any one out there have any tips on eye ware to protect my peepers.

Thanks.

Been discussed a few times - try this thread.

Kite shops sell kite/surfing specific glasses. Strap to keep them on, lenses that won't pop out when you stack, water drop repellent, polarised give best protection (that's what I use). Around $80 gets you a decent set. Do your eyeballs a favour.

quick one, try these, just purchased a set this week. If you require prescription lens, they have a small clip in additional frame that fits in behind the darkened lens.
Price is right.
Silver frame for a few bucks more, or black for this price.
Nice person at reception who will help you out

How do you get burned eyes? Weak eyes or something? I've gotten red eyes several times after 5-6 hour session but never burned eyes.. guess I'm lucky or everyone else is doing something wrong

Went to big w. Got 20dollar polarized ones, and got a strap. Do the job fine.

If you have red eyes, chances are they are burned.
