Go grab yourself a gym ball and some runners or a bike. do sit ups on that and get some cardio about 3 or more times a week.

muscles are found in most water ways, fresh and salt, try looking on jetty pylons and round the base of mangroves... abs you're gonna have to dive for, some places that aren't over fished decent sizes can be really easy to find, a flat screw driver makes them easy to shuck off the rocks, bag limits apply but you can stash a heap and come back at night to collect if the groper don't beat you too it., but in my experience they are not really worth the effort taken to prepare them.... i guess there's reason why they're known as mutton fish

Hi. Just doing situps will not improve your core strength. They focus too much on one particular group of muscles. Also it is your lower back muscles that get a workout as well when you kitesurf.

Go to the gym, see there personal trainer that you will have access to if you have signed up for three months or whatever and tell him/her what you want. They will go through the right routine for you. My physio has given me some exercises to do to strengthen lower core muscles, and I am fit and still have issues. I do a martial arts and we do a lot of conditioning which includes situps and other stuff and it still does not focus on all the core muscles. The other thing you could do is a palates class, that will look after it.

I do agree with the cardio part, will help alot.

Cheers

posted this answer to similar question in another thread but best thing you can do to strengthen your core is squats, they will strengthen abs and spinal erector muscles better than any other single exercise, not to mention your legs! make sure you get someone that knows what there doing to show you correct technique though or you could damage your back
