Fly Me To The Moon - will it work for Cabrinha?

How are people not talking about this clip!? It's by far the most obscure promo ever made by a kiteboarding company, let alone the usually conservative Cabrinha!

They've obviously pulled out all the stops to rid the brand of their 'old guy and noob' stigma...

But will it work? I kinda want to fly one...

"I'm so glad Cabrinha made another cross-over bridaled kite, because that is exactly what they are missing in their line up right now" - said everyone never.

Trippy as. Old guy noob stigma still attached.

Better of doing another Hidden Lines series at nitro city, plus the shenanigans

Made it through half of it.
You'd need to be pretty keen on an FX to watch it all me thinks.

The big loops filmed from a helicopter saved it. That was great footage.

Agree, they should do those chopper shots for KOTA.

Yeah, no wonder some people look down at kiting. I kept watching beyond the first minute as surely there was something good coming, by then I was invested and the investment didnt pay off.

Great!

A kooky vid to go with a kooky sport.....let's face it - the slick, surf style, trying hard to be cool .... doesn't really work with a kite - random stuff does IMO

Very risky from both the riders and the production team to do?

4.5 / 5 stars !

I actually like the potential for a new sport...climbing structures using your kite...it could be the new extreme risk illegal activity sort of a reverse take on base jumping , although you could always boost from the top of the conquered structure. Film crew and rogue structure kiter / climber make a stealthy appearance at target struture, quick action and then escape from the law (or admission to hospital or body bag..). Huge media coverage and indignant authorities moralising on irresponsible behaviour.....Amazing publicity stunt material for any kite brand out there

The heli footage was good value as well

Sounds like natural selection time.

If that pink dress, skate boarding, fire extinguisher scene in the other link is original ? Classic...

Is this guy the future Westerly Windina of kiting? Or maybe a Chris Lilley type character?

lots of green thumbs rowdy - how does it feel to be the voice of the masses for a change?!

for what it's worth, i thought it was a pretty interesting edit for a change - i did enjoy it more than watching slo mos of Peter kiting off a yacht in the south pacific for 3min, interspersed with keahi doing surfboard tricks on flat water to make it interesting.

all the running over structures things wmith kite makes me think a darwin award entry is being prepared for the future, if anyone ever copies it
no idea if the kites any good, but most 8m will go huge in 30+ knots if you've got 3-5 foot kickers and the balls to pull the trigger

He has amazing talent, thats for sure.
He is just slightly unhinged like Dimitri.
The narration was aimed at stoners.
The film was aimed at the acentric.
