Just back from FNQ and can't beleive how amazingly strong the wind was. I have kitted Cairns and Port Douglas and the wind is so timid.
The wind up past Cook Town pumps consistently between 20-30 every day in the dry season. I went up with Australian Kite Surfari and had a blast with a bunch of mates. Ant puts on a great spread and its all about kitting and having fun in a remote and beautiful part of the world. Make sure you check it out.
Am off to Vanuatu this Sep but somehow I doubt the wind will be anywhere near as good.

Third that! One of the most consistently windy winter spots I've ever been too and am trying to earn some leave pass points to go back again later this year too!!
That buggy cops a hammering eh!

Yeah that Buggy is the best. Perhaps 2 would be a good idea?
