Great footage of speed kiting

When filming speed.. coming towards you or away - always looks very slow.
Seeing the background move too, gives better perception - like this..

nice run. would be good to have speed stats as part of the video.. ie max and 500m

Over 100 klms per hour
and I'm pretty sure the luderitz channel is 500 mtrs in the speed zone, winds can get
50 knts plus blowing off the Namibian desert

Thats awesome footage - got to love the car 'peddle to the metal' engine sound to catch up with the kiter and then I just looked at the downwind bank thinking that would hurt big time if a run came unstuck!!
And Ive always wondered how the end of a speed kite run finishes - must be scary to put the kite to 12 o'clock when its blowing 50 knots!!

He could of ended it with a backroll handdrag kiteloop transition.

Or at least attempted to
