Thumbs Up

One of the great things about our sport are most of the people who kite and are happy to help one another. Today after my leading edge burst at a seam and the bladder bubbled out, I was left swimming in an outgoing tide and washed onto Bribie island.
Thanks to Mark, Bob, Brian and Lance who all came over to assist, towing lines and board back. Mark especially who took my kite back by body dragging it in very light conditions.
I've done similar in the past and really appreciated getting help when I needed to get my gear back across the passage to the beach.

It's up to all of us as the sport grows to ensure we stop others doing the wrong thing at our local beaches, assist others to kite better and safer, keeping an eye on other riders who need assistance. Are you doing this??
