I was wondering what was sunk in the water when I walked up the street yesterday afternoon...
For those who are unaware - Port Phillip bay has pretty much zero tide variation - so the only way that could have happened is if it was driven up on there!
I'm scratching my head in confusion!
My guess is autopilot, wonderful things that allow you to enter in a waypoint or route (set of waypoints) and it will navigate the boat straight to the point so you can go and fetch a beer or whatever whilst underway.
You've just got to be careful when you set them that there is nothing in the way because they don't stop for anything.
Probably hit the home point (his pen on the otherside of the breakwater? I don't really know the area) miles out to sea and either fell asleep or lost concentration.
I was downstairs with 2 Norweigian backpackers when this happened.....
Would I change a thing?

Why do women always laugh at me?
I have that effect on women...
for example,
1. I get out of the shower, walk into the bedroom.... laughter!
2. take my wetsuit off (after a cold winter kite) .... laughter..... Hey girls..It's cold all right!
3. With friction it gets better.
Oh .... I know, they are laughing with me....
