Saw Steve talk at a function last year and according to him it was a planned strategy not just luck. According to him he knew that he had no chance to out skate them and that they would all be going for gold no holds barred... So strategy, stay back wait for a crash and hopefully place, he had no idea how well he would place.
The rise has to be the worst wave kite ever.... any slack in the lines and down it goes.... I renamed mine fall.....
If you were a ferral kiter - drag out the kite knife cut yourself free and race to the end claiming the glory!! - what a mess!!! - without a knife where would you start?? its like a mega game of twister!!!
